Tommy Shots Barks At Germ-Laced Pills Provided By MDC

He survived a mob war, but Colombo boss Thomas (Tommy Shots) Gioeli is a scaredy-cat when it comes to germs.
The feds say Gioeli has the blood of six gangland slayings on his hands, but the jailed Colombo crime boss has gone on a medication strike because the pill dispenser doesn't wear hygienic gloves.
Gioeli has long ago discarded whatever shred of dignity a mafioso might possess with his nonstop whining about medical treatment and food at the Metropolitan Detention Center.
But the latest rant is bizarre even by Gioeli's standards.
He's taken to the blogoshere with the help of his daughter to advance his complaints.
"My new issue is no gloves worn by the pill administer on the pill line," Gioeli states in "tommygioelisvoice."
He goes on to describe a germ warfare behind bars that rivals the dangers faced by gangsters during the bloody Colombo civil war of the 1990s.
"In MDC there (are) over a thousand men, tuberculosis, AIDS, unnamed rashes, unkillable bacteria, a chicken pox outbreak, numerous runny nose and eyes, etc."
Then he delivers the coup de grace: "And the pill lady refuses to wear gloves when she dispenses our oral medication. "
It gets worse. "She shakes out the pill into the cap or an ungloved hand and watches as we place this into our mouths. The cap maneuver may be okay for the mother who is giving meds to her kids, but in an institutional setting it is dowright unsanitary."
The life-long thug charged with participating in the rubout of off-duty NYPD cop Ralph Dols even suggests the pill lady might be breaking the law.
"So I refuse my morning dose until she wears gloves. Every morning I ask her if she brought her gloves and she yells, 'I'm in no mood for you today!' "
Gioeli, 57, will return to Brooklyn Federal Court today for a judge to hear his complaint that the jail is refusing to refill his Plavix heart medicine and still hasn't fixed his teeth.
The mobster's lawyers did not respond to requests for comment.
