Mention of Mafia at Hearing for Hells Angel Murder
The Mafia has been added to the mix in the aftermath of the killing of a high-ranking Hells Angel member at a Nevada casino.
Ernesto Gonzalez, a member of the rival Vagos motorcycle gang from San Francisco, is accused of murdering the president of the Hells Angels' San Jose chapter during the Sept. 23 shootout.
who testified confidentially before the grand jury that indicted
Gonzalez.
But prosecutors say the man fears for his life and is bound for a witness protection program.
An investigator testified that another Vagos wounded in the shootout met with a Mafia member in October and gave him documents related to search warrants.
