Kelly Preston to play Gotti wife in upcoming mob film

John Travolta didn't have to look far to get someone to play the wife of former mob boss John Gotti.
Kelly Preston, Tavolta's wife, will play the Dapper Don's wife Victoria Gotti in "Gotti: Three Generations" after Lindsay Lohan was tapped to play John "Junior" Gotti's wife last month.
Executive producer Marc Fiore told RadarOnline.com that Preston will play John Gotti's wife Victoria. Travolta will play the role of the late mafia don.
The role of Gotti's daughter, also named Victoria, has not been filled.
Lohan, set to play Kimberly Gotti, told Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" last week she is “very excited to be working with the people I'll be working with,"

Lohan had originally sought to play the Dapper Don's daughter Victoria.
The "Mean Girls" star told Leno she met the real John Gotti when she was just 3-years-old.
"That's bad, hanging out with John Gotti when you're three,” Leno joked. “That could be why you're in so much trouble!"
RadarOnline reported that the film, written by screenwriter Leo Rossi, will be shot in New York starting in January 2012. It will detail the father-son relationship between John Gotti and John "Junior" Gotti, who sold the rights to the story.
This comes as "Rain Man" director Barry Levinson is reportedly in talks to replace fired director Nick Cassavetes on the movie, The Wrap.com reported today.
Fiore got rid of Cassavetes last month because of scheduling conflicts with another movie Cassavetes was shooting, sources close to the production told entertainment website TMZ.
