VH1's "Mob Wives" Makes an Offer 2.2 Million Viewers Can't Refuse

Sunday night’s 8:00 PM* series premiere of “Mob Wives” scored a .9 rating in the key P18-49 demo, marking a 92 percent increase over the network’s year-to-date average primetime rating on Sunday night. The premiere episode brought in 1.4 million total viewers to VH1. When combined with the 10PM* encore episode, over 2.2 million total viewers were introduced to VH1’s “Mob Wives” on Sunday night.
The premiere episode of “Mob Wives” was also the #1 non-sports program on cable at 8PM* with both women 18-49 and women 18-34. Additionally, the telecast averaged a 1.5 rating in the W18-34 demo.
All the myths, legends and tales about “mob life” have centered on the men who run these wrong-side-of-the-law closed societies until now. VH1’s provocative new series follows a group of suburban women – Renee Graziano, Karen Gravano, Drita D’avanzo and Carla Facciolo – who lead anything but “normal” lives. They are a sisterhood forged by suffering, shame and the strength it takes to start over and find their own identities.
“Mob Wives” is produced by The Weinstein Company (TWC) and Ben Silverman’s Electus.Executive producing for Left/Right are Banks Tarver, Ken Druckerman and Nina Diaz. The series is created and executive produced by real-life “mob daughter” Jennifer Graziano of JustJenn Productions. Executive producers for VH1 include Shelly Tatro, Kari McFarland, Rick Hankey and Jeff Olde.
