Team Gotti in trial hopscotch
After getting their case moved from Florida to Manhattan last year, lawyers for John "Junior" Gotti now want to relocate part of it to Brooklyn.
Gotti was indicted last month on two new drug-related murder counts and one count of racketeering conspiracy. His lawyers said that the since the alleged murders did not happen in the Southern District, which includes Manhattan, Gotti cannot be tried for them there under federal rules.
The alleged murders took place in Queens, which is in the Eastern District, whose federal courthouse in Brooklyn.
