A Brooklyn woman who arranged appointments for a mob-run prostitution ring was sentenced to nine months under house arrest this morning by a judge who rejected comparisons to ex-Gov. Eliot Spitzer's call-girl scandal.
Suzanne Porcelli's defense lawyer tried likening her to the women who helped run the Emperors Club VIP patronized by Spitzer, but was abruptly cut off by Manhattan federal Judge Lewis Kaplan.
"I've read all that, and repeating it won't get us anywhere," Kaplan said.
"Any lawyer, if he's worth his salt, can find someone else in America who got a lighter sentence somewhere."
But Kaplan ultimately granted lawyer Vincent Romano's request for a "non-jail" sentence, citing concerns that Porcelli wouldn't get adequate mental-health treatment in jail.
Porcelli -- who was busted last year in a round-up of 14 reputed Gambino crime-family mobsters and associates -- had faced up to two years in the slammer under her plea deal with prosecutors.
Her lawyer said she suffers panic attacks, anxiety and depression due to post-traumatic stress from seeing her abusive dad murder a motorist during a "road rage" incident while the family was headed to Disney World.
In a brief statement, Porcelli said she was "deeply sorry" and vowed never to appear in a courtroom again.
